He concluded his service as a Staff Sergeant and served a variety of roles and specialties from Combat Engineer to Rescue Swimmer.
He still is actively involved with the Armed Forces and, in 2025, was selected to serve as a Judge Advocate General (JAG) for the Navy Reserves.
A role that he still proudly occupies.

Prior to criminal law, Peter worked as a consumer finance lawyer and represented clients in Superior Court and Federal Court. He then changed roles to prosecutor with Wake County as a Wake County Assistant District Attorney. During his time with the DA’s Office, he handled criminal cases from investigation through trial before both judge and a jury.
